Atley and Carson participated in a class put on the Fargo Optimist Club and the Fargo Public Schools, which taught the incoming kindergarteners about safety, street signs, 911, poisions, seatbelts, strangers the whole gammet of safety issues.
The session was 2 weeks long and they learned alot. The 2 week class culminated with a small program and graduation, where a police officer handed them a certificate and congratulated them on being a Safety Town Graduate. Carson was the most impressed with the firetrucks and school bus tour and Atley was most impressed with the arts and crafts portion of the class.
