Sawyer is an Elmo fanatic, he loves him. He loves the videos, the stuffed animals, the sounds, music. I think every 2 year old must love Elmo. When we found out Elmo Live-Elmo's Green Thumb was coming to Fargo, we knew we needed to attend.
We decided that it should just be something Sawyer could do by himself with his parents, so many times he is the tag along to Atley and Carson's activities and events. He deserved something all his own, which didn't make his older brother and sister very happy.
Dan had to take the older kids to their final night of swimming lessons so Sawyer, my sister Larah and I headed off to the show. We were probably just as excited as he was :)
We started the evening with buying a large stuffed Elmo, because what live show would be complete without a little trinket to bring home right? Auntie bought him a sesame street live soccer ball and then we headed to our seats.

The night went about as I expected, he was interested in the show for about 30 minutues. That is pretty good, considering he is just 2, and is very active and doesn't like to sit still. He did dance, smile and laugh during the show, but then lost interest and was trying to drink other's beverages even though he had his own, climb over the seats, etc.
We took out cue and left but felt his very first show was a success.
Who knows maybe next year we will make it for a full hour :)
