Mother's Day

We celebrated Mother's Day with church in the morning, delivering flowers to Grandma Durr and having desserts and gifts with Grammy in the afternoon. Dan and the kids spoiled me with new bottles of perfume and my first Coach purse which Dan picked out himself. I could never justify spending that much money on a purse but Dan has been trying to convince me to buy one, the prompting was at it's height when we were shopping at the Grand Wailea Resort in Maui. I just can't justify that amount of money, but I do like the purse and it means so much that he and Atley and Carson picked it out together while shopping at Macy's.

I am so blessed with 3 wonderful children, whom are all miracles and provide me with endless joy and happiness. I thank god everyday that I am their mommy.

I am equally as blessed that I have such a wonderful mother, whom also is my best friend. She is my cheerleader, when I want to throw in the towel, my confidant when I need a listening ear, my support and friend. She has taught me so much, like how to be generous with your time and talent, loving to those, even when they are unlovaable, reslient even when storms pass through your heart but the biggest lessons I have learned were especially after my dad died so young. She finished raising 3 girls and did so with a zest for life and a positive attitude. She lights up a room with her personality, smile and giving heart. I am so blessed to be her daughter.

I am a blessed mommy and a blessed daughter!
