Happy New Year to all our friends and family!!
I can't believe it is the New Year, and we all can start fresh and new again. I have many hopes for the upcoming new year, and many things I hope to accomplish, the standard resolutions that most everyone wants, lose weight, be more patient with the kids, be more organized. However I wanted to share a few of my non traditional resolutions that I want to accomplish this year, and I will check back here next year and see if I have accomplished them. Feel free to post yours in the comments section, maybe I can add one to my list :)
1. I would like to read the bible, there is a bible out there that is divided into 365 days, so at the end of the year you have read the whole bible. (My photographer is doing this for 2009 and my mom and sister have already read the year bible, so I am going to resolve to do this)
2. I am going to become more green, I want to recycle and will get my family involved in this project.
3. I will be caught up on most of my scrapbooking projects by the end of the year.
4. I will become a member of my kids PTA when they start kindergarten this fall. My mom was always active in the PTA, and was PTA president a few years too, so I would like to be active in the PTA for my kids.
5. I will become a Sunday School teacher this fall for our church.
6. I will either take one of the following 3 classes, a sewing class, I want to learn to sew with a sewing machine ( I don't have a clue how to :) I want to take photography classes, or cooking classes ( I love to bake, but really don't like to cook, so maybe a class will spark my love for cooking too??
So, those are a few of my personal resolutions of course with the standard ones I listed in the first paragraph. Want to share yours??

Nice blog! I'm sorry I haven't been here before, but now that I've found you, I'm so glad!
Your resolutions sound ambitious! I wish you luck!
Mine is only simple and not measurable, but it's important to me. I am going to lighten up and take everything a little less seriously this year.
