This is just more of a gripe post, than anything but geez what is it with all the twisty wraps and open faced boxes on toys. You practically have to be a rocket scientist to come up with a clever way to wrap gifts with open fronts. We cut up a heavy duty cardboard box and create our own fronts on toy boxes.
Those dang twisty ties too :( They make me so angry!!!!!!!!!! We did get a heavy duty utility scissor for just this purpose. There is nothing more annooying than a kid wanting to play with the new toy and it takes over an hour to exhume it from the packaging.
The batteries, you need stock in Duracell this time of year too!!
I am glad that I do have boxes with twisty ties, and toy boxes with open fronts, and a large quantity of batteries though, because that means little kids live in our home and hearts!!
