Dan graduated tonight,with academic honors, from Rasmussen College with his Business Management Degree. Dan started college, shortly before we got pregnant with the twins, however, due to the rough pregnancy and early delivery, he took a leave of abscence from school to focus on our family.
2 years ago, he went back to school, and finished up where he left off, and that culminated tonight when he received his diploma and graduated with honors. I am so proud of him, he has worked so hard and all while working a very demanding job, with long hours, and 3 little children,(Sawyer was born during this time and was in the NICU) who needed his attention, as well as a home and spouse. That in itself is amazing, the dedication to his family, work, and education.
I know he appreciates this degree more now, than he probably would have had he finished when he first attempted college right after highschool. He has learned so much,and he appreciates the knowledge he has gained and the responsbility of being a dad and a spouse, was a great driving force in completing his education goals. Dan will be promoted to the Vice President of the company he has worked for, since he was 8 years old, and the process of company ownership is not so far off in the distant future!
Congratulations Dan, we are all soooooooooooooo proud of you!!!
