We just wanted to share a few pictures from our Halloween 2008. This year Atley and Carson became big fans of the movie "The Wizard of Oz" thus began my hunt for a family themed Halloween.
Atley stated she ofcourse wanted to be Dorothy, Carson picked the tin man. Atley and Carson wanted their daddy to be the lion, and for mommy to be Glinda the good witch, although some days I could probably pass as the wicked witch :) Sawyer rounded out the theme being the adorable scarecrow.
We had so much fun dressing up as a family, the kids were so proud of their costumes but even more proud of their parents being dressed up. They won best costume at the Halloween Dance, that we attended Saturday, at their Grammy's elementary school where she works. We had so many comments on their costumes. We even dressed up for their preschool party and their little classmates absolutely loved it.
I think Dan made the perfect lion, don't you?? Everytime I caught a glimpse of him being dressed up and intereacting with the kids it just made me smile. It was a great day, but poor little Sawyer had a high temp due to having his MMR the week before, but he wasn't crabby, just quiet and subdued. I hope you enjoy the pictures, they make us all smile.
