Atley had a follow up appt with our wonderful pediatrician last week. He sees her every 6 months because of her small size and just to check up on how she is doing. Altey weighed 25 lbs in January at age 4. It took her until 7 months of age to reach 10 lbs. If you all recall she weighed a whopping 1 lb 15.3 oz at birth, and has never stopped moving since.
Atley now weighs 28 lbs and is offically on the charts for her weight! It is only the 1% but hey we will take it. She is still a little minute but I tell you she can whip her 40 lb twin brother into shape.
Dan asked the pediatrican if he has even seen a baby as small as Atley not having any delays/problems etc. He said Atley is the exception. He said I just love seeing her because I get to see a miracle :) He also said she is doing so well because of her wonderful parents, that is always nice to hear too!
A cute story to tie in with her being on the charts, Atley and Carson were chatting at bedtime a few days ago, and Dan went in and said okay, it is time to be quiet its bed time. Atley proceeded to say" Daddy do you know that I am on the charts for me weight" That is what we were talkin about". Dan couldn't help but laugh, because it really is something we are all so proud of.

yeah Atley!!! We have been praying for that for such a long time :) way to go -- kep it up girl!! I miss you guys - I have to come she Sawyer boy hopefully soon-- oh- by the way- I agree that the kidos are doing so well becasue they have 2 awesome parents and a whole big great family :)
